Is it better to speak or to die?

Is it better to speak or to die? The paradox of life — to be or not to be, to do or not to do, to speak or to die. Though, what is a life that we run from? An existence lived in fear to be ones self is a waste of the gift of life.

What cannot be said will be wept - Sappho.

To speak. It is better to speak. For life is too short to leave words unsaid.  Our voices — a gift from god — were not bestowed upon us to remain silent. To die before you speak would be a waste of days, regret of what could have been. You make no mistakes with the choices you choose for every right move unfolds in success and every wrong move teaches you a lesson. In this life, what is meant to be will be no matter the words you speak. Rejection? No. Redirection, protection.

Written in the stars, the — although, sometimes cruel —  truth we must come to understand only aids in your growth as a human being.

To understand the blessing of language allows us to appreciate its depth. My words are chosen with intention, with every sentence said, meant. To speak with dishonesty would be a betrayal of the endowment that allows the expression of our souls.

The structural complexity of our language is unlike any other species on our planet. Our layered, independent thoughts revealed by our vernacular.

If the words you spoke appeared on your skin, would you still be beautiful?

In this life, the brave ones die, the smart ones go crazy, and the world remains full of happy fools - Al Pacino.
