Every Ludmila pillbox hat is handcrafted using traditional couture millinery techniques. 
 
Each hat begins with a buckram foundation, which is carefully hand-blocked on a traditional wooden hat block to create its signature silhouette. The structure is then hand-wired using a buttonhole stitch, a couture technique that reinforces the edge while maintaining both strength and elegance.
 
Containing over 5,000 hand stitches, every hat is individually constructed over many hours before being covered in premium scuba knit, finished with three layers of velvet ribbon, a handcrafted velvet bow, and carefully padded and fully lined by hand for a refined interior finish.
 
Unlike mass-produced accessories, no part of this process is rushed. Every stitch, every curve, and every detail is completed by hand with the intention of creating a piece that can be treasured for years to come.
