The Fashion Habit of The Wealthy and Successful

A popular fashion habit amongst the wealthy and successful; a daily “uniform”. The repetition of an outfit or outfit formula repeatedly to reduce decision fatigue and preserve mental clarity for other important decisions and tasks.

As a personal stylist, I frequently discuss the stressful and time-consuming decision the art of everyday style can be. The realisation of this challenge many experience daily was one of the inspirations behind the creation of Innasya Attiremy goal to make stylish dressing a thoughtless process.

We see the concept of a daily “uniform” adopted by some of the world's most successful individuals.

  • Mark Zuckerberg wears a grey t-shirt and jeans.

  • Steve Jobs in his black turtleneck and blue jeans ensemble.

  • Barack Obama favouring a blue or grey suit.

A few of us may have already implemented this technique into our wardrobes without even realising, reaching for the same pieces over and over again. However, my question to you is; do you feel confident in this look or do you have aspirations of an elevated wardrobe?

A distinguished style isn’t as uncomfortable or complex as it may seem. Working one on one with each client I style, I curate outfits not only reflective of their personal style but the lifestyle they live. When styling everyday wardrobes — casual wear, and work wear — I create practical outfits that fit into their daily lives seamlessly but elevate their confidence exponentially.

Reflected in a study conducted by Harvard on enclothed cognition, how you look does affect how you feel. The looks I style for my clients allow them to step out into the world, into board meetings, onto red carpets feeling like the most gorgeous version of themselves therefore improving the way they carry themselves throughout their day.

Curating that daily uniform, sourcing the right pieces (especially within your budget), and additionally styling them into outfits may sound just as stressful as the dilemma of daily dressing which is where I come in.

Personal styling isn’t reserved for A-list celebrities and public figures. It’s a service anyone can and should be able to access because feeling confident in the clothes you wear is a right we all deserve.

As a lover of fashion and styling the idea of wearing the same outfit daily, personally sounds like my worst nightmare.  My proposition: a daily outfit formula, for example; straight leg pants and a blouse, a pleated mini skirt and fitted top, a midi skirt and knit jumper, wide leg pants and a bateau neckline shirt. On top of that, all of Innasya Attire’s lookbooks are presented in a downloadable PDF available to access on any device giving you a clear visual image of the outfits, personally styled to you that suit your body shape, skin tone, lifestyle, and preferences.

Even if you’re not wanting to create a daily “uniform” but still feel the decision fatigue of daily dressing is too much, this may be the exact thing you need.
