Last week my best-friend of 10 years celebrated her 21st birthday. I wanted a gift that she would look back on in years to come, a keepsake we will show our children one day. This magazine is exactly that. More than just a photo album but a time capsule of the last decade of our lives together.

While the topics were somewhat morbid, the quiet promise beneath them — that we would always listen to one another, no matter how often the same thoughts resurfaced is what makes these memories fond.
To make this page a little more incognito, I created a word search puzzle full of all of the topics we would discuss — without a key.
