Killin’ Someone’s Vibe Should be a Fcking Crime: Being Judgmental Is Cringe

There is no quicker way to show the world how insecure you are than by being judgemental and rude.

When you remove the fear of judgement, you live a life of genuine joy and contentment. Who are we to take someone’s happiness?

Killin’ someone’s vibe should be a fucking crime. You do not have the authority to judge another human being. At the end of the day we are all flawed human beings being raised by other flawed human beings.

Judging a person does not define who they are — it defines who you are.

How Critiquing Others Erodes Self-Worth

Your judgement on what is right and wrong comes from your own biases and experiences, but no matter how much you’ve learnt you really still know very little about the world. Just remember, you’ll never know what it’s like until it’s you.

Judgement causes insecurity. I’ve noticed that the ones most worried about people talking down on them are the individuals who judge, gossip, and attempt to belittle another to uplift themselves.

Stop judging people because they simply sin differently than you do.

You often hear the saying “if that’s how they treat me, I can’t even imagine how they treat themselves”. Judgmentalism extends further than our opinions on others, it erodes our own self-worth and contributes to the rise of depression and anxiety. Bringing another down will not validate your own insecurities, only amplify them.

Perspective Creates Empathy

I’ve never understood the people who are so invested in another's business. Who judge and criticise people for simply enjoying the things that bring light to their days. You don’t need to get why someone likes the things they do because it actually has zero effect on you.

How can you call someone's outfit ugly when they feel confident in it? How can you question another's interests when it quiets the darkness in their mind? How can you judge someone’s music taste when thousands of people sing the words at concerts?

Who are we to say how people live their lives?

To change your perspective is to realise that life is too short to care what others think and the people who truly do live a life fueled by only their own happiness are the ones who are winning.

To live for yourself and only yourself is the greatest gift in the world. Trying to fit the mold to make others happy is a waste of your days.

Those who judge will never understand and those who understand will never judge.

Humble yourself. God can put you in the same situation you look down on.

Love,
